A reputable hospital located just outside Fredericksburg, Texas, is in search of a committed and experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to become a vital part of our imaging department. This position plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and additional modalities as needed.
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning, promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and alleviating any concerns they may have.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation for all imaging procedures performed.
• Follow safety guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to both patients and staff.
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and support patient care.
• Engage in quality control and assurance activities to uphold exceptional imaging service standards.

ARRT Radiologic Technologist Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification: Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Experience: Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred but not essential.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
