MLR is seeking a highly skilled and certified Medical Technologist to join our client’s prestigious laboratory team near Katy, Texas!

Medical Technologist Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
• Analyze and interpret test results with precision, ensuring timely reporting to healthcare providers.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure consistent and optimal functionality.
• Adhere to strict quality control protocols and regulatory standards to maintain the highest lab practices.
• Record and report test results accurately in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to communicate test results and their impact on patient care.
• Participate in continuous education and training on new laboratory technologies and techniques.

MT / MLT Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) through ASCP, AMT, or another recognized accrediting body.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Current Texas state licensure or the ability to obtain licensure as a Medical Technologist.
