We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join a dynamic radiology department. We have first, second, and third-shift roles available.
Position Overview: As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will be vital in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to a diverse patient population. You will be responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other modalities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures by physician orders, including X-rays and fluoroscopy.
- Position and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and radiologists to review and interpret imaging results.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- State licensure in radiologic technology.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's or a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
- Continuing education to stay updated on advancements in diagnostic imaging technology.
