MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking for a full-time, permanent Cardiovascular Sonographer to join a talented team at a respected acute-care hospital near Abilene, Texas.

Salary: $80,808 - $95,599 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Diagnostic Echocardiograms: Conduct transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiograms with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Patient Data Analysis: Evaluate patient history, symptoms, and test results to assist in making accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborative Care: Partner with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to adjust and implement patient care plans based on diagnostic findings.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and ensure the proper function and calibration of ultrasound equipment.

Qualifications:

• Training/Education: At least one year of on-the-job training or completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Certifications: RDCS or RCS certification in adult echocardiography, or RVT or RVS certification in vascular ultrasound (must be obtained within one year of hire).
• CPR Certification: Required.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures in a Non-Invasive Cardiology setting.
• Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in using ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
• Professional Development: Participate in mandatory training, staff meetings, and online learning modules.
• On-Call Availability: Willingness to be on-call, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
