MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated team at a well-established acute-care hospital near Brownwood, Texas.

Salary: $77,700 - $104,730 per year

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine clients' functional abilities and needs using interviews, observations, and standardized testing methods.
2. Work Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday shift per month.
3. Develop Treatment Plans: Create tailored treatment plans focused on enhancing fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, or daily living tasks.
4. Therapeutic Interventions: Implement therapeutic techniques, including exercises, adaptive tools, or environmental modifications, to assist clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
5. Collaborative Care: Work in partnership with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy: Required.
• Experience: No prior experience necessary.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• CPR Certification: Must possess current certification.
• Driver’s License: A valid Texas Driver’s License is required only for those designated as HMC Designated Drivers.
• Designated Driver Status: Yes.
• OSHA Category: 2 - Moderate Risk.
