MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire CT Scan Technologist to join their client's dedicated team within an inpatient acute-care hospital near Glenn Heights, Texas!
Key Responsibilities for CT Scan Technologist:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Full-time, permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
- Setting: Acute inpatient hospital.
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images.
- Operate CT scan equipment and adjust settings to ensure quality imaging.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver precise imaging results for accurate diagnosis.
- Schedule options:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Monday-Thursday: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Tuesday-Thursday: 2:30 PM - 3:00 AM
- Friday-Sunday: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday-Sunday: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Maintain and operate CT equipment, following safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Keep detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
CT Scan Technologist Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) is required.
- Valid Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure required.
- BLS certification must be completed prior to starting.
- 1+ year of CT scan experience preferred.
