Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure correct patient positioning and technique to obtain the best imaging outcomes.
- Operate and maintain CT and radiography equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Effectively explain imaging procedures to patients, addressing any questions with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
- Keep accurate and thorough patient records, in line with hospital procedures.
- Follow strict safety guidelines and infection control measures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT (R)) and Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT)) (Required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
- Texas Department of State Health Services certification (Required).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate patient care approach.
