Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Current Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Additional department-specific certifications (ACLS, etc.) preferred or obtainable post-hire
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for individuals with neuro and pulmonary conditions
- Perform thorough assessments and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare team members
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and document changes accurately
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
- Support a collaborative and respectful work environment while mentoring peers and support staff
