IMCU Registered Nurse

MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated IMCU Registered Nurse to join out client's esteemed team near Fort Worth, Texas!
Key Responsibilities for an IMCU Registered Nurse:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, closely monitoring their condition and vital signs.
- Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families about care plans, procedures, and ongoing health management.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the hospital's electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care for intermediate care patients.
IMCU Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Certification in CPR and BLS is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- NIH Stroke Scale is required.
- Previous experience in an IMCU, ICU, or similar critical care setting is highly desirable.
