Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Description:

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be a licensed professional responsible for the operation and performance of medical imaging practices to the patient during IR procedures.

Responsibilities for a Interventional Rad Tech:

• Interpret various medical imaging modalities for accurate diagnosis of patient conditions during IR procedures.
• Collaborate with medical specialists to provide expert insights and recommendations for patient care based on imaging findings.
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards, implement protocols, and ensure radiation safety measures are followed.

Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent and AAS degree in accredited radiology program required
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiology preferred
• Texas State Licensure
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ARRT Certification
• Medical Radiographer License
