MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our client’s esteemed hospital team located near Fort Worth, Texas!
Key Responsibilities for an Occupational Therapist:
- Assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to enhance their daily living and work skills.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress towards goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and adaptive techniques for home and community settings.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress within the hospital's electronic health records.
- Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices in occupational therapy to provide the best care possible.
- Participate in patient discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of services.
Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
- Current Texas licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
- Certification in CPR and BLS is necessary.
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required.
- Experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting is required.
