Role Responsibilities – What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests—ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology—adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, address discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be attained within one year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification for the duration of your employment.
