MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our client's dedicated cardiovascular team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting interventional cardiology procedures, ensuring patient care is delivered at the highest standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient environment within the cardiac catheterization lab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Assist interventional cardiologists with catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and other related procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring all equipment and instruments are ready for use.
• Adhere to strict infection control practices and safety protocols throughout all procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Accurately document patient care, procedure details, and outcomes.
• Respond promptly to any complications or emergencies, following established protocols.

Cath Lab RN Qualifications:

• Required current RN license in Texas.
• Required BLS certification.
• Required experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Previous experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar cardiovascular setting required.
• Strong understanding of cardiac procedures, including catheterization and angioplasty.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
