Position Summary: 

One of our regional clients has partnered with us to find an MRI Supervisor to lead their expanding team. The MRI Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations of the MRI department, upholding the highest standards of patient care, safety, and imaging quality. This role includes supervising a team of MRI technologists, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the MRI department. 
  • Ensure high-quality MRI imaging services by established protocols and standards. 
  • Schedule and coordinate staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficient workflow. 
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate MRI technologists, providing feedback and professional development opportunities. 
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and timely maintenance. 
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, including MRI safety and radiation protection. 
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. 
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed. 
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care. 
  • Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of three years of experience as an MRI technologist, with supervisory experience preferred. 
  • In-depth knowledge of MRI procedures, protocols, and safety standards. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in MRI equipment and related software. 
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

Certification / Licenses: 

  • Required:  
    • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.  
  • Preferred:  
    • Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) 
    • Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert (MRSE)
