Position Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient evaluations, including physical examinations and thorough assessments of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues by effectively interpreting imaging and lab findings
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to form and implement tailored treatment plans for patients
• Offer intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and handling surgical instruments
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, treating wounds, planning discharge, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred experience in surgical rotations with an emphasis on operative care

Required Certifications

• Current PA-C certification, with active and unrestrained credentials
• BLS and ACLS certification must be valid
• Physician Assistant state licensure or eligibility is necessary
