Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic examinations, work alongside a collaborative group of healthcare professionals, and deliver timely, compassionate imaging services to those in need.

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of ultrasound assessments, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures, clearly explaining each process
• Engage collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic results
• Manage ultrasound equipment effectively, reporting any technical issues as needed
• Keep precise documentation and patient records in our electronic medical system
• Remain informed on the latest trends and advances in ultrasound imaging technology

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and adept at patient positioning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
