Your Role in the Surgical Experience

• Perform detailed patient assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and reviews of medical histories
• Help evaluate and diagnose surgical cases through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including the preparation of operating rooms and the proper positioning of patients
• Facilitate outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master’s degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
