ARRT CT Scan Technologist

MLR is seeking a skilled ARRT certified CT Technologist to join our client’s advanced imaging team in Texas. In this vital role, you will perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, providing essential imaging services that support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and sanitized.
- Follow strict quality control and infection control standards throughout all procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
- Educate patients about the procedure, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in CT required.
- Valid Texas state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
- BLS certification required prior to the start date.
- Previous experience in CT imaging preferred.
