Cardiovascular Sonographer
MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a committed full-time Cardiovascular Sonographer to join a vibrant team at a reputable acute-care hospital near Abilene, Texas!
Salary Range: $80,909 - $95,929 annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Diagnostic Examinations: Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and stress echocardiograms with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Work Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Evaluate Patient Data: Review and analyze patient history, symptoms, and test results to support accurate medical diagnoses.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Partner with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to develop and update individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain Equipment: Ensure ultrasound machines are properly maintained, calibrated, and prepared for use.
Requirements:
- Training: Minimum of one year of hands-on training or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
- Certification: RDCS or RCS certification in adult echocardiography or RVT or RVS certification in vascular ultrasound (must be obtained within one year of employment).
- CPR Certification: Current certification required.
- Procedure Proficiency: Ability to perform all cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures offered in a non-invasive cardiology setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using all relevant equipment, including ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
- Training Participation: Attend required training sessions, staff meetings, and complete online learning modules.
- On-Call Availability: Must be available for on-call duty as scheduled, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
