ARRT - Cardiovascular Sonographer

Cardiovascular Sonographer 

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Cardiovascular Sonographer to join a reputable acute-care hospital near Abilene, Texas!

Salary: $80,643 - $95,821 per year

Cardiovascular Sonographer Duties:

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Carry out high-quality transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiograms.
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
• Analyze Patient Data: Evaluate and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic results to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Work with Medical Staff: Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to create and update personalized patient care plans.
• Maintain Ultrasound Equipment: Ensure all ultrasound machines are well-maintained, calibrated, and fully operational for daily use.

Qualifications:

• Experience/Education: Minimum of 1 year of practical training or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• Certifications: RDCS or RCS certification in adult echocardiography, or RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound (must be obtained within 1 year of hire).
• CPR Certification: Current certification is required.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Cardiac & Vascular Imaging: Conduct thorough cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies in the Non-Invasive Cardiology department.
• Equipment Proficiency: Achieve a high level of skill in operating all relevant tools, including ultrasound machines, PVR systems, BP monitors, and related technologies.
• Continuing Education & Meetings: Engage in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and complete necessary online learning modules.
• On-Call Commitment: Be available for on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
