Systems Administrator / IT Administrator
MLee Healthcare, a leading healthcare staffing and recruitment organization based in Austin, Texas, is seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and security of our systems.
Responsibilities:

System Administration:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and related systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components.

Active Directory Management:
- Administer and maintain Active Directory services, user accounts, and group policies.
- Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity of user authentication and access controls.

Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems.

Backup and Recovery:
- Implement and manage data backup and recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Conduct regular testing of backup and recovery procedures.

Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures to protect the organization's data and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to IT security.

Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Develop and update IT policies and procedures as needed.

Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with IT management to plan and execute technology upgrades and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or IT Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and security practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) are a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in systems administration.
