We are currently seeking dedicated therapists to provide support in various locations, contributing to the well-being of individuals seeking behavioral health and substance abuse treatment.
Position: Traveling Therapist (Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse)**
Traveling Therapist Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and monitor client behavior in diverse settings.
- Collaborate with local teams to ensure services align with Willow Springs Recovery’s standards.
- Document client behavior, group participation, and counseling sessions.
- Assist in coordinating treatment and discharge planning as needed.
- Provide crisis management, group therapies, and facilitate/referral services in different care environments.
- Educate clients and local staff in a therapeutic milieu setting.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of administrative functions, including interpersonal communications, office etiquette, and computer skills.
- Understanding of the 12-step treatment model and its application in various treatment settings.
- Strong clinically ethical standards.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point).
- Familiarity with dual diagnosis treatment practices, including non-pharmacological symptom management techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA regulations and CFR 42 requirements.
- LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT License required for the Traveling Therapist role.
- Master’s degree preferred.
