Our client in the area is seeking a NICU Director to lead their growing team. The NICU is vital to the hospital, providing specialized care to newborns. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated NICU Director with a strong background in neonatology and proven leadership skills.

Position Overview:

The NICU Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the NICU, ensuring the highest standards of care, and leading a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a solid clinical background in neonatology and a passion for advancing neonatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Providing clinical leadership and strategic direction for the NICU
• Developing and implementing NICU policies, procedures, and protocols
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Managing departmental budgets, resources, and staffing levels
• Creating a supportive work environment and promoting professional development
• Staying current with advancements in neonatal care and integrating best practices
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
• Developing and maintaining relationships with families, providing support and education throughout their NICU experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
•  Master's Degree preferred
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Texas
• BLS and ACLS preferred
• Experience in budgeting and resource management
• Commitment to continuous improvement and quality patient care
