Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Google Workplace Consultant to assist our team. We are looking for someone who is able to come in on a consultancy bases to give guidance when needed. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implementation and Configuration:
    • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate Google Workplace solutions.
    • Lead the implementation and deployment of Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
    • Configure Google Workspace settings and policies to meet client requirements.
  2. Administration and Support:
    • Provide ongoing administration and support for Google Workspace environments.
    • Manage user accounts, groups, and access permissions.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues related to Google Workspace applications and integrations.
  3. Training and Adoption:
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users on Google Workspace applications and features.
    • Promote best practices and drive user adoption of Google Workspace tools.
    • Create documentation and training materials for users and administrators.
  4. Integration and Customization:
    • Integrate Google Workspace with other third-party applications and services as needed.
    • Customize Google Workspace solutions to align with client business processes and workflows.
    • Develop scripts or workflows for automation and efficiency improvements.
  5. Security and Compliance:
    • Implement security best practices and configurations within Google Workspace.
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor and audit Google Workspace usage for security incidents and policy violations.
  6. Consulting and Advisory Services:
    • Provide strategic advice and consulting services to clients regarding Google Workspace.
    • Recommend enhancements and optimizations based on industry trends and client feedback.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Google Workspace Administrator or Consultant (5 to 10 years of experience) 
  • Deep knowledge of Google Workspace applications and services.
  • Experience in configuring and managing Google Workspace domains, users, and groups.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
  • Google Workspace certifications (such as Google Certified Administrator) are a plus
