Director of Sales Job Responsibilities 

Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: 

  • Design and implement sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets. 
  • Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and customer segments. 
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. 

Lead and Mentor the Sales Team: 

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 
  • Set performance metrics and provide coaching to achieve team goals. 

Cultivate Client Relationships: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. 
  • Represent mlee.com at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our platform. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. 

Collaborate Across Departments: 

  • Work closely with marketing to align sales strategies with campaigns and lead generation initiatives. 
  • Provide feedback to the product team to refine offerings based on market needs. 
  • Partner with executives to set strategic direction and drive company-wide objectives. 

Manage Sales Operations: 

  • Oversee forecasting, reporting, and budget management for the sales department. 
  • Optimize sales processes, tools, and technologies for efficiency and scalability. 
  • Analyze data to identify trends, track performance, and inform decision-making. 

Requirements 

  • Proven experience as a sales leader, preferably in SaaS, healthcare, or HR technology. 
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a leadership role. 
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and drive results. 
  • Experience managing and developing sales teams. 
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics. 
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
