Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the administrative function of the Cath Lab departments and Cardiac Rehab.
  • Develop and review annually departmental policies and procedures in compliance with the guidelines/standards of all applicable associations and/or governing bodies. Ensure staff remains knowledgeable of all policies and procedures relevant to their duties and responsibilities.
  • Develop and review annual department goals and objectives and plans for new projects concerning cost, quality, and service.
  • Ensure departmental quality/PI plans and activities are ongoing, reporting as needed.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance for functions and ensures improvement to maintain compliance.
  • Responsible for Chest Pain Certification and filling the role of the chest pain coordinator.

Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Registered Nurse, or State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
  • Bachelor’s degree in health science (includes nursing, cardiovascular technology, or radiologic technology) yielding RN, RCIS, RT(R), or equivalent credential.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related cardiovascular clinical experience (e.g. Cath Lab RCIS or RN) with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Need significant leadership experience- Director or experienced Manager within a Cath Lab
  • Must have Cath Lab experience**
