We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. The counselor will develop and implement treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy, and support clients through recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine the severity of addiction and create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling to clients to address underlying issues contributing to addiction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide support and guidance throughout the recovery process.
• Work with clients to develop coping skills and strategies for relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and community resources to provide comprehensive care to clients.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Certification or license in addiction counseling (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor).
• Knowledge of substance abuse disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and their families.
