Capitalize Curiosity in the Lab: Join a Vibrant Diagnostic Team Near Lakeside Charm

Overview
We’re seeking a Medical Lab Technician who blends curiosity with precision—someone dedicated to transforming patient care one sample at a time. In this full-time, first‑shift role at a bustling community hospital in the greater lakeside region, you’ll help deliver life-changing diagnostic results. You’ll work alongside purpose-driven colleagues, supported by a total rewards package designed to fuel both your career and well-being.

Description – What You’ll Do

  • Perform routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests—chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—under established protocols.
  • Analyze results for accuracy, troubleshoot errors, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on lab instruments.
  • Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as needed.
  • Document all procedures thoroughly, train new staff or students, and help uphold lab quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of hire.
  • Maintain current certification throughout employment.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Capable of independent judgment and problem-solving in fast-paced or stressful situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in quality control and documentation.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive market‑competitive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
  • Generous time-off starting day 1, and vacation/holiday time with experienced hire credit.
  • Continuing education opportunities and professional growth support.
  • Robust total rewards package focused on your whole-person wellness.

Follow the Numbers to Real Lives

Here, your microscope work powers doctors’ decisions—and patient lives. One slide might confirm an infection slash antibiotic use; another test may spot a metabolic imbalance before symptoms appear. Your skill ensures accuracy that doctors, nurses, and patients rely on every day.

A Culture Rooted in Collaboration

This isn’t just a role—it’s a community. You’ll be part of a team that values continuous improvement. Seasonal in‑lab huddles, competency refreshers, and process-improvement initiatives foster an atmosphere where ideas matter. You'll be empowered to join committees, propose process enhancements, and even mentor new hires.

Emerging Community: Where Lakes Meet Life

Picture a vibrant lakeside region—tree-lined streets that edge sparkling water, farmers markets bursting with peaches and craft brews, and a rich tapestry of arts festivals. Neighborhood cafés double as community hubs, where conversations span weather chitchat to local politics. Days off might include paddleboarding at sunrise or catching an outdoor concert in the park under swaying oaks. The local population is grounded, friendly, and eager to lean on one another—qualities that define the healthcare community here as well.

At your fingertips are boutique boutiques, nature trails, community theatre, and outlets for every interest—from bird watching to triathlons. Commuting is a breeze, with quicker connections to the metro and a better balance than bigger city living. Housing costs remain manageable, letting your paycheck stretch further toward experiences—roof decks, weekend road trips, weekend wineries, and local football games.

Forging Impact, Cultivating Excellence

In this region, every lab employee is more than a technician—they're an essential pillar of community health. You’ll see your impact ripple outward: faster diagnoses, safer care, happier patients, more sustainable operations. Rounds of cheerful “thank you” notes reflect not just accurate lab results but deeper gratitude for your role in delivering timely care.

Now Is the Time to Take the Microscope Further

If you're seeking more than a paycheck—if you're driven by purpose, personal growth, and community impact—then this role is for you. Whether you’re newly certified or bringing years of experience, you’ll find support, challenge, and opportunity here.

Ready to Step Into Your Next Chapter?

Step into a role where your meticulous skills meet a community that values both innovation and warmth—a place where every lab report contributes to real stories of healing. If you're eager to put your all into a job that rewards precision, collaboration, and care, we can’t wait to meet you.
