Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred)
- Valid RN license in the State of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS and other unit-specific certifications preferred or required within 6–12 months
- One year of RN experience preferred in acute or specialty care
What You'll Do:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological and pulmonary conditions
- Perform assessments, implement and revise individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor for treatment effectiveness and patient response
- Provide education to patients and families regarding conditions and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate charting and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Promote safety, compliance, and teamwork across the unit
