Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients’ individual needs and design personalized strategies to help them reach their functional goals
• Implement Evidence-based Interventions: Apply proven therapeutic techniques to enhance patients’ motor performance, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate Within Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on therapy methods to encourage sustained progress at home
• Monitor and Adapt Treatments: Evaluate clinical outcomes and refine treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized educational institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
