Overview:
- Perform MRI procedures to capture detailed images of internal structures.
- Operate MRI equipment, ensuring accurate patient positioning and high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review and interpret images for diagnostic accuracy.
- Provide outstanding patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing patient concerns.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.
MRI Technologist Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
- Prior MRI Technologist experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- ARRT certification as an MRI Technologist or equivalent.
- State licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
