CT Tech Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and radiologic imaging procedures as directed by physicians.
• Ensure correct patient positioning and employ the best imaging techniques to achieve optimal results.
• Operate and maintain CT and radiologic equipment, ensuring its safe and efficient performance.
• Provide clear and compassionate explanations of imaging procedures to patients, addressing any concerns professionally.
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret imaging results.
• Accurately document patient information according to institutional protocols.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure a safe clinical environment.

CT Scan Technologist Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT (R)) and Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT)).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
