Echo Technologist Job Description:
The Echo Technologist must be a licensed professional responsible for the operation and performance of echocardiographic procedures to the patient.

Responsibilities for an Echo Tech:

• Interpret various medical imaging modalities for accurate diagnosis of patient conditions.
• Collaborate with medical specialists to provide expert insights and recommendations for patient care based on imaging findings.
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards, implement protocols, and ensure radiation safety measures are followed.
• Calibrate and maintain sonography equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Echo Technologist / Sonographer Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) Certification
• Completion of 2-year sonography program
• Tennessee State licensure
• Current BLS Certification
