Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and lab tests
• Work alongside surgeons in developing and implementing tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which encompasses preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and facilitating instrument hand-offs during surgeries
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, managing medication, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations, with surgical experience preferred

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
