Clinical Pharmacist Stewardship - Regional Medication Quality (full-time) in the Nashville, TN area.

What the work involves:

• Create and maintain stewardship infrastructure, including education/competencies for pharmacy staff.
• Serve as a liaison between Vanderbilt Health's main campus and regional hospital key stakeholders from pharmacy and quality departments.
• Maintains expertise for relevant literature and best practices in various practice areas in all aspects of the medication use process impacting antimicrobials, anticoagulants, and opioids.
• Facilitate system process improvements and standardization for stewardship activities.
• Ensure the consistency of quality and standards of practice related to stewardship activities.
• Review anticoagulant, antimicrobial, opioid, and/or glycemic agent related medication events documented in the safety reporting system.
