MRI Technologist Duties:

• MRI Technologist will be expected to operate MRI scanners, adjust imaging parameters, and ensure equipment functionality while adhering to safety protocols.
• Under the direction of the radiology director, the MRI Technologist will operate MRI scanners, adjust imaging parameters, and ensure equipment functionality while adhering to safety protocols.
• Follow strict safety guidelines, screen patients for contraindications, and respond to adverse reactions during and after MRI procedures. Ensure the safety of patients and staff by implementing appropriate radiation protection measures.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, explain procedures, position patients correctly, and ensure their comfort and cooperation during scans.

MRI Technologist Qualifications:

• ARRT certification.
• Valid state license or eligibility for MRI Technologist licensure.
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment, troubleshooting, and familiarity with MRI software and imaging protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, compassion, empathy, and ability to provide emotional support to patients.
