3. Collect, process, and prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate laboratory findings to contribute to patient care.
5. Adhere to established laboratory protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
6. Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records and documentation.
7. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work in different hospital settings, providing coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree or a Bachelor's in a related field.
2. Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) from a recognized accrediting agency.
3. Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and quality control processes.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with healthcare professionals.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Willingness to travel to different hospital locations based on organizational needs.
7. ASCP or AMT Certified.
