Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursing Home / Skilled Nursing Unit

We seek a compassionate, dedicated RN to join our team near the scenic Southern Black Hills. This role is based in a nursing home and skilled nursing unit and is part of a respected regional healthcare system. The position focuses on delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in a long-term care environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and delegated nursing care to long-term care residents in a skilled nursing setting.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with residents and families.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies, including IVs and respiratory care.
  • Monitor resident health status and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and wellness.
  • Supervise CNAs and other staff, ensuring adherence to care standards and safety protocols.
  • Participate in training and quality improvement to support clinical excellence.
  • Lead nursing shifts and promote a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of South Dakota
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s degree or higher)
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred but not required
