Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and achieve therapy goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home exercises to promote continued progress and independence.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards and relevant state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of South Dakota.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in various clinical settings.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within South Dakota.
