Inpatient Pharmacy Manager - FT

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of service excellence. Acute Pharmacy Manager Job Responsibilities:
-Maintain a professional image and exemplify excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues.
-Demonstrate leadership in quality management systems, promoting the process approach and risk-based thinking.
-Manage staff effectively, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and supervision to meet patient care needs.
-Develop, supervise, and coordinate pharmacy programs across the facility.
-Address operational challenges, such as scheduling, workflow optimization, and supply management.
-Oversee medication management processes from procurement to administration, ensuring safe and effective use.
-Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, including state and federal laws.
-Register as Pharmacist In Charge with the SC Board of Pharmacy for assigned locations.
-Manage pharmacy department budget, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
-Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the pharmacy enterprise.
Pharmacy Manager Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Pharmacy Management.
-BS or PharmD Degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy
-Current, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in South Carolina
