Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established policies and protocols.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and uphold ethical and legal standards of care.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, offering emotional support and addressing concerns.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current South Carolina RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required based on specialty and employer preferences.
  • Clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
