Licensed Practical Nurse - Orthopedics
MLR is partnering with a reputable health system in South Carolina to recruit a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, permanent position in their Orthopedics department. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking to specialize in orthopedic care and join a supportive, dynamic healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care for orthopedic patients.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, medication administration, and post-operative support.
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on orthopedic conditions, treatments, and rehabilitation processes.
- Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Licensed Practical Nurse - Orthopedics Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in South Carolina (or eligibility for licensure).
- Previous experience in orthopedics or a related field is preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
