MLR is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Critical-Care Pharmacist to join a leading inpatient acute care hospital in a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient-Centered Care: Provide expert medication management to ensure safe, effective, and individualized treatment for critically ill patients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and enhance safety.
  • Medication Review & Management: Conduct thorough evaluations of medication regimens, identifying potential interactions and making therapy recommendations.
  • Education & Training: Educate healthcare providers and patients on critical care pharmacotherapy, new treatments, and best practices.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Research & Innovation: Participate in research to advance critical care pharmacy practices and improve patient care outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of PGY1 or PGY2 pharmacy residency.
  • Licensure: Active pharmacist license in the state of employment.
  • Experience: Experience in a critical care or hospital setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to patient care excellence.
