Acute & Critical Care Registered Nurse
MLee Healthcare is collaborating with a client to find a dedicated full-time, permanent, direct-hire Critical & Acute Care Nurse (RN) to provide expert care in high-intensity environments. This role is essential for managing complex and critically ill patients, ensuring optimal care outcomes. $7,500 in relocation assistance offered.
$6.00 night shift differential
$4.00 weekend differential (stackable)
$1.25 evening differential (stackable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients by utilizing medical history, observation, and diagnostic data
- Develop and execute individualized care plans, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress in accordance with physician orders
- Provide immediate interventions in emergency situations, including advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and trauma care
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and post-care instructions, while offering emotional support and guidance
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the department, manage patient care activities, and assist in fiscal responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in critical or acute care settings.
