Certified Surgical Technologist – CST

**Endoscopy, OR, CVOR, L&D opportunities available**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated certified surgical technologist (CST) to join our team. As a certified surgical technologist, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room and surgical instruments, assisting the surgeon during surgery, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments, sutures, and other supplies as needed
  • Assist the surgeon during surgery by passing instruments, holding retractors, and cutting sutures
  • Monitor the sterile field and take corrective action to prevent contamination
  • Document and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current on the latest surgical techniques and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed
