Physical Therapist - Home Health

 

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is actively seeking a full-time, permanent Physical Therapist for a direct-hire role with a supportive home health team at a well-established acute-care hospital near Conway, South Carolina.

 

Compensation: Offers a competitive salary along with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

 

Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly, Monday through Friday.

 

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

  • Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients in their home settings to understand physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Personalized Treatment Plans: Develop and administer individualized therapy programs based on assessments, patient history, and physician recommendations.
  • In-Home Therapy: Deliver physical therapy directly in patients' homes, using exercises, hands-on techniques, and other methods to enhance mobility and function.
  • Education for Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families, teaching exercises, therapeutic methods, and lifestyle adaptations to aid recovery.
  • Progress Tracking: Regularly monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to optimize results.
  • Collaborative Care: Coordinate with doctors, healthcare providers, and caregivers to deliver integrated, high-quality care.
  • Emergency Management: Handle urgent situations during home visits and provide appropriate care interventions when necessary.

Requirements

  • Driver’s License & Insurance: Must have a valid South Carolina driver’s license and automobile insurance; candidates must be 21 or older to meet the hospital’s fleet policy.
  • Licensure & Certification: A current Physical Therapist license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required. Professional liability insurance is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Compliance: Maintain up-to-date licenses and registrations as required by state and institutional regulations.
