What You'll Be Engaging In

In this position, you’ll go beyond merely addressing symptoms; you’ll actively restore routines, rebuild self-esteem, and reignite joy in the lives of your patients. From assisting stroke survivors with fine motor skills to guiding orthopedic patients in regaining mobility post-surgery, your expertise will provide compassionate care that encourages independence and resilience.

This is not a setup for quick fixes or routine checklists. Here, each patient unfolds a unique journey, and every therapy session contributes to their recovery narrative. You'll team up with fellow therapists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to co-design rehabilitation plans that are bespoke to meet each individual’s needs.

Why You'll Appreciate the Team — and the City That Inspires You

Pittsburgh boasts a community where collaboration and support are abundant. Our vibrant rehab team moves beyond mere schedules; we celebrate each other’s victories and foster a culture of encouragement and learning. Here, your insights matter, your development is cherished, and you’ll see the difference your efforts make each day.

And the backdrop? Pittsburgh — a city that surprises and captivates. With its iconic skylines and historic districts, the city invites exploration. Outdoor lovers can discover striking vistas at Point State Park, while local breweries and artisan coffee shops offer a taste of the innovative spirit that underpins this city. The community itself is a rich mosaic, home to diverse neighborhoods filled with local eateries, craft shops, and live music venues that breathe life into the streets. Pittsburgh is not just a destination; it’s a place that embraces its residents and invites creativity, community, and connection.

Who We're Looking For

We seek an individual who views occupational therapy as more than just a profession — it’s a calling. You should radiate enthusiasm when a patient regains mobility, recounts experiences they could not share before, or takes their first steps toward independence.
