The Medical Technologist will conduct a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in clinical laboratory science, excellent analytical abilities, and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and accuracy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Testing: Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests.
  • Quality Control: Execute and document quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Sample Analysis: Analyze body fluids, tissues, and other substances using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques.
  • Data Interpretation: Interpret test results and correlate laboratory findings with clinical data to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • Certification: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or equivalent.
  • Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of laboratory safety standards and regulatory requirements.
