Job Summary: The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiographic exams. The role requires technical proficiency, patient-centered care, and collaboration with our radiology team to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for X-ray exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Administer contrast agents if required and monitor patients for any reactions.
  • Review images for quality and ensure they meet diagnostic standards.
  • Maintain radiographic equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New Jersey.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing various radiographic exams.
  • Knowledge of radiographic procedures, safety protocols, and patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
