** MLee Healthcare is seeking a qualified OR Scrub RN to join an established hospital in the Northeast US**

Schedule:

• Day Shift 4x10s w/ alternating days off
• 1-2 on call shifts/wk with every 3^rd or 4^th weekend

OR Scrub Registered Nurse Job Description:
Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA, the Operating Room (OR) registered nurse (RN) will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for OR Department patients. It will include individualized, family centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care. You will also plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans before, during and after the procedure to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. You will create and maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment. They need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of operation procedures and patient safety. Being compassionate and sensitive is a prerequisite for the profession. The ideal candidate goes one step further by being a critical thinker, fast to act in emergencies.

OR Scrub Registered Nurse Qualifications:

• Proven experience as operating room nurse (circulating and scrub)
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
• In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures
• Outstanding organizational ability
• A great team player with excellent communication skills
• Cool tempered with emotional and physical stamina
• Diploma in nursing and a valid license
• Previous experience with heart scrubs
