Laboratory Team Leader Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Division Manager, provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices. Supervises personnel and coordinates functions and activities in assigned division. Functions at least 50% of time as a technical staff member.
Medical Technologist / Laboratory Scientist Qualifications for Team Lead:
-Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
-As part of CAP requirements, copy of college diploma and transcript required upon hire.
-Minimum Experience: 4+ years in clinical laboratory setting
-Min Field Of Expertise: Medical Laboratory Technology or a related science
-Req Cert/Registration: Experienced certified generalist or specialist (e.g., MT(ASCP), HTL(ASCP), SC (ASCP), etc.)
